Dear Professor Jackass,
Let's just agree that you are brilliant. You obviously believe it, and I'm willing to play along.But I'm just telling you that when a student comes up to you to ask a question after class, it's either because 1) they don't understand something, or 2) are really interested in the material and want to discuss it further. When you are dismissive and condescending, you actively discourage learning.
Just thought you'd like to know.
