Legal Quandary

Dear Board of Bar Examiners,

You obviously think it's darned important that we "print or type" our bar applications "carefully" because "it must be legible." In light of this, don't you think you could facilitate the whole typing thing by making the form fillable as opposed to just viewable in Acrobat?

Just trying to help.

Love,

LQ

LOL oh yeah I remember that. I ended up printing off the form and filling it out by hand. Then I typed up a few pages at a time on the Adobe file. You can type in it, but you can't save it. I printed off the pages I typed. Next day I would type in a few more pages and print them off. Took me 3 or 4 days but I had the form filled out.

The addendums...oh boy I hated those. My job history took up 2 pages.

Good luck!!!!

Hah! Don't think I didn't try that. No - their form was one that you couldn't even type into. I think they just scanned the image.

Bastards.

Mine didn't actually take me all that long - a couple of hours - tops. All I have to do now is get it notarized and I'm done. Between them and my Bar/Bri iPod lease agreement, I'll be about $1300 poorer though. Boo.

And all for the privilege of taking a really long exam.
